This is a beautiful shoe! I love this shoe but it certainly runs small. I am a 9 1/2 in most shoes this one I will need a 10. I will be returning them. I am disappointed because I will have to pay $50 more for the same shoe 1/2 size larger. Because it is what I have been looking for I will bite the bullet and make the purchase.UPDATE: Received the new shoe in size 10 which fits much better than my typical 9 1/2. I love them. I purchased them in both the espresso and spice. I thought I would like the spice but I really like the espresso better. The boot fits like a dream. Wish the black was cheaper. The spice that was sent wasn't in the best condition. For the current price I have to send them back. The espresso is better looking than I thought, they are the winners!A bit about the boot. This can be considered a clog type heel. The heel offers comfort and stability. The insole offers a level of cushioning that provides comfort with each step. There is a side zip for easy on off and a pull tab on the back as an added feature. The leather is oh so soft to the touch. Just over all enjoyable.UPDATE to the UPDATESo God must have heard my plea because I kept checking and checking and found that the black boot went on sale!!! I am in love, so much so I am sharing this wonderful find with anyone who will listen. To date I have these in the espresso and black, if the others go on sale I might pick them up as well. Still only offering a four star rating because I haven't worn them for any long period of time. I hope to take care of that over the weekend.FINAL UPDATE:Okay, I wore the boot for an extended amount of time and it has been confirmed... I love them. They have officially earned my five stars. One thing about the sizing. I went up a half size because when I tried on the boot they felt tight and it didn't feel like my heel fit properly in the shoe. Now that I am wearing the larger size my feet almost have to much room. I did wear the boot with a thin sock, which I will not be using in the winter time.I share this to say that if the price is right consider buying both sizes to determine which is best for you.I love these boots. They're so comfortable. I looked everywhere for them with no luck until I came here and even then I made a compromise on the size. I ended up a half size smaller than what I would normally find comfortable since that was all that was available, but if I wear a very thin sock they fit ok and are still comfortable enough to wear. I wish they were a little bigger but I love them anyway and still wear them.Love the boots! Comfortable. Cute. Soles have a nice springy feel. I have had trouble with boots zipping up over my larger legs but these fit really well.My only complaint has to do with the color difference of my boots and the boots in the photo. I bought my boots in Spice. I know I received Spice because there is an orange stripe down the back. The boots in the photo are an almost entirely different color.I am an 8 in every shoe and this shoe was no different. Got an 8 and fit just fine. I really wanted to like this show but the sole is made of this strange plastic and did not look good to me. Also I wanted a boot that would last me for years and although the leather is great, I am not sure how that sole would wear considering it really felt like a plastic that toys are made of or something. Very strange and did not fit my aesthetic at all. Aside from that, the shoe felt really comfortable. I could see this being a great shoe for the winter, or rainy season. Shipping was fast. Sadly I will be returning the boot.These boots are really cute! They are comfortable but only with a very thin sock. I only gave 4 stars because I was hoping for a little more room for a thick sock. Otherwise, I love them!I was hoping for a bit more support from the foot bed, but alas that wasn't to be. I love the color, the height of the shaft is good. They are waterproof, which is great.Really good quality, love the molded sole and heel height perfect for a dress or jeans! Especially love the zipper due to having a high instep! Would recommend to a friend!I loved these boots. Make sure you order at least half a size larger! I liked the color (herb) which is a little different from the image they put here.
