Upon arrival was pleased with the looks of these boots. Bought the red (they are a soft red) and the sole also being red was just grand. From reviews, I thought I might be wearing Milton the Monster boots. Pleasingly, not at all. Normally wear 6 to 61/2 Wide and decided to go with a 6 to keep them from looking humongous. They do fit but my big toes are close to the end and I'm afraid thick socks would make them uncomfortably tight. Since they fit okay I'll keep them, but if I do order another pair I'll go with 7 since no half sizes in this style. Also, there was a smallish spot on the leather of one toe which may or may not come off. Overall pleased.
